DNAtest360 helps you choose the right DNA test and get more out of the one you've already taken, without handing your genetic data to anyone else.

Why we built it

Millions of people have taken a consumer DNA test, and most never look past the ancestry pie chart. Every major company lets you download your raw data, but the tools for exploring it usually ask you to upload your whole genome to yet another company's servers.

We think that's backwards. Your DNA is the most personal data you have, and once it's copied somewhere you can't take it back. After 23andMe's 2025 bankruptcy put millions of customers' genetic data up for sale, a lot of people started asking the same question: who else has my DNA?

What makes DNAtest360 different

• Your DNA never leaves your device. The analyzer runs entirely in your web browser. There's no server that receives DNA files, and the site's security settings stop the page from sending data anywhere. Here's how it works.
• No account, no email required. Drop in your file and see your results.
• Honest comparisons. Our test comparison chart and guides explain what each test is actually good at, including its downsides.
• No medical claims. We report well-studied traits for education and curiosity. We don't diagnose anything, and we'll always tell you when a result is a tendency rather than a certainty.

How we make money

DNAtest360 is reader-supported. When you buy a DNA test through some links on this site, we may earn a commission from the testing company at no extra cost to you. We also plan to offer an optional paid full report, which will run privately in your browser like the free one does.

Commissions never decide our recommendations. The comparison chart and quiz rank tests on what they're good for, and we cover tests whether or not the company pays us.
